Fabrizio Caccavale was born in Napoli, Italy, on November 14, 1965. He received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering and the Research doctorate degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Naples Federico II in 1993 and 1997, respectively. From 1998 to 1999 he has been Post-Doctoral Fellow of Robotics at the Faculty of Engineering. Since 1993 he is with the Department of Computer and Systems Engineering where he is currently Assistant Professor. From April to October 1996 he was a visiting scholar at the Rice University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Houston, TX. His research interests include dynamic identification of robot manipulators, cooperative robot manipulation, fault diagnosis, nonlinear control of mechanical systems, underwater robotics. He has published more than 50 journal and conference papers. |
