Since December 2010, Fabio Ruggiero has been holding a two-years PostDoctoral position at University of Naples Federico II, with a fellowship in "Sensor data acquisition and fusion for the visual servoing of Micro Aerial Vehicles".
Past Postions
From November 2007 to October 2010, he has been a Ph.D student in Computer and Automation Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II, under the supervision of Dr. Vincenzo Lippiello.
From September 2009 to March 2010, Fabio Ruggiero held a visiting position at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois (USA), under the supervision of Prof. Kevin Lynch.
Research interests
His research interests are focused on dexterous and dual-hand robotic manipulation, on aerial manipulation, on dynamic manipulation and on 3D object preshaping and reconstruction.
