Giovanni Di Stasi

Short resume

I am a postdoc at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Napoli Federico II, where I received my MS degree in 2007, and my PhD in 2011, under the guidance of Prof. Roberto Canonico and Dr. Stefano Avallone. I am member of COMICS, a research group on networking headed by Prof. Giorgio Ventre.

In March 2009 I was at french INRIA institute (Sophia Antipolis) working for the EU funded PlanetLab project in collaboration with dr. Thierry Parmentelat, the project technical director. From January to March 2010 and March to May 2012 I was at the Computer Science department of Karlstad (Sweden) as a visiting scholar under the guidance of Prof. Andreas Kassler.

My research interests fall in the area of networking, and, in particular, of routing and channel assignment for wireless mesh networks, peer-to-peer networking and heterogeneous testbeds.
