Bio
I am a Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) at Federico II University of Naples in the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. My research interests include Dependability (in particular Fault Injection Testing) of Operating Systems and Cloud Systems. I'm a member of DESSERT (DEpendable and Secure Software Engineering and Real-Time Systems) research group.
Furthermore, I collaborate actively as researcher with CINI laboratory (Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per l'Informatica) of University of Naples Federico II.

- In our latest work, just accepted at DSN 2023 we propose IRIS a framework to record (learn) sequences of inputs from the real guest execution (e.g., OS boot), replay them as-is to reach valid and complex VM states, and finally use them as valid seed to be mutated for enabling fuzzing solutions for hardware-assisted hypervisors. - Predictive maintenance is a golden example of digital transformation within Industry 4.0, especially in the railway industry. In our last work, accepted for publication in Elsevier Expert Systems with Applications (ESWA), we propose a novel methodology based on Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) deep learning algorithms for predictive maintenance of railway rolling stock equipment.
