Innovative turbop ROp configuratioN

The goals of IRON project are the improvements of performances of regional aircraft in the 90 passenger segment. In the project, two different aircraft configurations will be studied: a non-conventional aircraft configuration (laminar wing and tail-mounted engines) and a conventional aircraft configuration. Finally, advanced hybrid-electric aircraft will be designed and analyzed.
