FORENSICS Spinoff Company

FORENSICS s.r.l. (abbreviation of FORensic ENgineering servICeS) is an academic spinoff company where I serve as Co-Founder, Partner and Head of Civil Engineering and Risk Services. The company operates at the intersection of academic research and industry practice, delivering innovative solutions in the field of structural safety, forensic engineering, risk analysis, and resilience of civil infrastructure.

Software Tools

My research group develop software packages for both private and public clients. R&D activities include but are not limited to:

• Development of custom software for the structural assessment and retrofit of existing buildings and bridges
• Tools for robustness analysis and progressive collapse simulation
• Multi-hazard risk assessment platforms integrating structural vulnerability, exposure, and resilience indicators
• Decision-support tools for public authorities and private stakeholders on risk mitigation and infrastructure management

We also developed MADA – MAsonry DAtabase (Online experimental data selection for mechanical modelling of masonry), within the framework of DPC-ReLUIS national research projects funded by the Italian Civil Protection Department.
