PACTLS is a software developed by
Francesco Montefusco and Carlo Cosentino in the Biomechatronics Lab of
the Università degli Studi Magna Graecia at Catanzaro, Italy, and in the
Systems Biology Lab of the University of Leicester, UK, for
reverse engineering biological interaction networks from steady-state
and time-course experiments.
It
is based on the constrained total least squares identification method,
which allows to deal with the measurement noise, which can be very
significant in biological experiments.
