I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). I hold a Bachelor and a Master in Mechanical Engineering from UNINA. I obtained a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering at UNINA in 2018, with a focus on soft robotics. I am the team leader of the BIOIC (Bioinspired soft robotic systems for cognitive production) project, a research project related to the biological transformation of manufacturing through the use of soft robotic technologies. My research interest are: soft robotics, nonlinear modeling, bio-inspired design, mechatronics, biomechanics and bioengineering, product design and development. I am passionate about research and technology transfer activities.
